The two Garden Villas on Deck 14 are the most luxurious accommodations on Norwegian Dawn, and they are accessible only by keycard. These are marketed by NCL as “The Largest Suites at Sea”. These expansive 6,694-square-foot cabins consist of three bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and enormous two-story outside deck areas. They can comfortably sleep seven people, providing more space than one could possibly need.

If a large group books both Garden Villas together, the walls in the living room and outer decks can be opened up to create an enormous social space. With some of the largest staterooms at sea, the Norwegian Dawn invites you to stretch out and enjoy your time onboard. The 3-bedroom, 6,694 square foot Garden Villa comes complete with butler service, a piano and a private garden. However, you don’t need a large suite to enjoy the Norwegian Dawn because she has fabulous public spaces including the acclaimed Cagney’s Steakhouse, Dawn Club Casino and The Oasis Pool. Plus, a wide range of youth programs ensure plenty of time to explore the Norwegian Dawn’s Second City comedy club, 14 dining options and 12 bars and lounges. With three bedrooms, each with a king- or queen-size bed and luxury bath and shower, you have plenty of space to revel in.

Still, as an exception, all passengers can order (for free) their room-service morning coffee and Continental Breakfast. After implementing the new service charge, NCL upgraded the room service menu, adding more hot food items for Breakfast and a wider food & drinks selection (available for ordering 24 hours a day). The price varies based on cruise length, but we were offered a pass for $139/person for a 7 day cruise prior to embarkation… which is quite a good deal compared to some of the larger and newer ships! Day passes are available as well (check for current pricing). Outside cabins measure about 150 square feet and have a porthole or picture window above the bed. Some obstructed-view outsides on Deck 8, situated behind the lifeboats, can measure up to 196 square feet. This is a good option for people who want a bit of natural light and more space (usually for the price of an inside).
The ship has a total of 7 jacuzzis and 3 pools (kids' T-Rex Pool). Entertainment options also include the NCL's FIREWORKS show (on each voyage), "Rock of Ages", "Cirque Dreams", "Illusionarium" (magicians show). Something we loved the most about the Dawn was the abundant space on board to relax and get away from other passengers to read a book, check email, or just relax in relative silence. Above the atrium, up several floors is a whole space that is largely unused and full of lounge chairs, sofas, and tables. This was a great space to just relax, play some cards, have a drink, and get away from people in general. The atrium itself is also quite lovely to relax, have a coffee and people-watch.
