They don’t concern themselves with future projections or past experiences. So, when practicing, ask yourself questions that can be answered in the moment. Over time, this practice will help you become more attuned to your Sacral responses and trust them in your decision-making process. Unlike the mental decision-making process that many of us are taught to rely on, the Sacral Inner Authority works through immediate, visceral responses. It bypasses the mind’s analysis and rationale, and instead responds directly to the energetic information it receives.
Trusting Your Gut Feelings
First, realize that your gut feelings are more reliable than your mind when it comes to making decisions that are right for you. While the mind can get clouded with worries, doubts, and fears, your gut feelings remain steadfast and true. Next, realize that this responsive approach often leads to more fulfilling outcomes. Because your decisions are based on your sacral response, they are rooted in your deepest desires and instincts. They feel right and satisfying because they align with who you truly are.
Do All Manifesting Generators Have Sacral Authority?
The sacral’s guidance can illuminate the journey towards greater satisfaction and ease, effectively reducing the effort exerted in endeavors that would otherwise feel like an uphill battle. Acting against this wisdom often results in unnecessary struggles and dissipates the potential for joy and success in one’s efforts. The mind doesn’t know how to give us the life we’re here for, but the Generator body does and is built for it. When the mind engages in decision making, you can find yourself saying “yes” or committing to things that your energy can’t sustain, leading to frustration and quitting. And if the Sacral response is constantly ignored, even Generators can find themselves exhausted and lifeless, with all sorts of physical problems cropping up. Remember, nurturing your Sacral Inner Authority is a journey of self-discovery and self-trust.

This can be explained by the theory that the brain uses glucose for energy, including for the function of the decision-making process. Making gut decisions can be powerful and effective – especially when you have low energy due to a lack of glucose1. Sacral authority is said to be experienced as an expanding gut feeling when excited by an idea, or as a contraction of the gut when something doesn’t feel right. Allowing yourself the time to feel the nuances and full spectrum of your emotions helps you to make important decisions correctly.
The above are listed in hierarchical order, with a defined Solar Plexus outranking all other defined centers, and then the Sacral coming next. Activating Sacral Authority involves being attentive and responsive to the body’s guttural yes-and-no signals, especially when making decisions. The Sacral Center is responsible for life energy and creation, influencing sexuality, work, and vitality.

If both your Solar Plexus and Sacral centers are open but you have a defined Spleen, then you’re a Splenic being. Have a defined Sacral with direct connection to the Throat center.

There are seven Authorities, however, only the Generator and Manifesting Generator can have a Sacral Authority.
On some level, it is quire primal and comes down to trusting one’s body, not their mind. They will start to speak when it is the right time for them to speak. If, in addition, your child has an open throat center, it will likely take longer for them to become verbal. These are originating from deep inside the body, and could come out as murmuring or grunting. The sounds are in response to a particular situation or conditions, providing a “Yes” or “No” response to a specific question. This is different from the Generator Strategy to respond or the Manifesting Generator one to respond, and then inform.
It comes back to listening to and trusting your body, and responding to what life is putting in front of you rather than what you think you need to do or should happen. The mind is constantly telling us that we should be something that we’re not, as opposed to what we actually are. Truly following a Sacral response requires a kind of surrender to the body’s intelligence which challenges the mind’s sense of being able to control the outcome. Well, you can stop and wait and you may find that that space opens up again. In that space, it becomes possible to see the mind and its thought patterns and feel into life in a more experiential way.
